Meet Our Staff

We understand planning for surgery can be overwhelming.
Our solid team of healthcare professionals are ready to make the entire process as smooth as possible for you.

Christine

Clinical Administrator

How Does our process work
and how much will it cost?

We can provide you with the peace of mind of a not-to-exceed amount for your total out-of-pocket expenses for your surgery, including the surgeon’s fee, anesthesia, and facility fees.

Step one

Email Dr Maxwell by filling out the form below to tell him as much as you can about your problem giving your contact info including a cell phone, your full name, and date of birth, and indicate whether you want a call or email for a free no-obligation telephone consult.

Step two

Dr. Maxwell will call you back for a free, no obligation telephone consult to hear your story and to give you his impressions.

Step three

If you are happy with the excellence of our service, you would then be free to book an in-person visit with Dr. Maxwell at the Arctic Laser Spine Center which has a 7-day week availability. Every visit with Dr. Maxwell will cost $375 and since we no longer interact with any third-party payers it would be your responsibility to seek reimbursement from your insurer.

If your spinal condition is not amenable to the smallest, most minimally invasive same-day outpatient procedure then Dr Maxwell will refer you to the best specialist, in or outside Alaska, to address your more complex needs at no further cost.

Dr. Maxwell has not seen any indication in his patients for lumbar fusions (and therefore has not done any) for many years and strongly believes that spinal fusion surgeries as a whole are greatly over-recommended to patients.
